UCD Marian were delighted to welcome renowned sports psychologist Niall O'Donoghue to the club this week, where he delivered an engaging and insightful session to a number of our young players.

Niall, who currently works with Sport Ireland and Meath GAA, has also recently returned from the U19 Cricket World Cup with Cricket Ireland. His experience at elite level sport brought real depth to the session, offering our players a unique insight into the mental side of performance.

The workshop focused on key areas such as confidence, goal setting, dealing with pressure, building resilience, and developing strong habits both on and off the court. Players were encouraged to think about how mindset can influence performance and how small daily improvements can make a big difference over time.
